Hotter Shoe | My #HotterMoment

Hear me out guys. Okay so Hotter isn't exactly the first place which springs to mind when you hear a 20 something lady is shopping for shoes, but why not? A couple of weeks ago myself and a handful of the Abzmeet blogger gang were invited along to Hotter to hear a bit more about the business, try on all of the shoes out little hearts desired and hear just how Hotter stand a part from the crowd in a sea of stilettos!

I came away with these lovely vintage delights, recently I've been loving dressing to the nines (well lets say seven and a halves?) in my midi skirts, cincher belts and let's not forget my cat flicks, so I thought what better way to round off my look than with a pair of vintage inspired heels fresh from the 50s? Usually I have such trouble finding shoes that fit me just right, but in Hotter something just clicked, it fit my width, my length and with the help of half an insole I had my #HotterMoment or what I like to call my Cinderella moment.

I've been so enjoying wearing these with anything and everything! From a hot to trot leather midi to body con dresses and most recently to work with my ever edgy culottes, dare I say comfiest day at work ever!

All I can say about Hotter is this is a classic case of don't knock it until you've tried it, and now you can try it that much cheaper using the code PPATEN before the 30th of June for £10 off all first full price orders as well as benefiting from free delivery. May I make a small recommendation here? Buy their memory foam trainers because... HEAVEN....Heaven!

Until next time folks, go on... have your #HotterMoment.

Aberdeen Art | Jason McGroarty, Project Totem & Cat Couture!

Another dawn, another day, and another exciting Aberdeen event I just had to share particularly for lovers of my cat cafe review (in addition to art, photography and darn good wine parties), I give you....Project Totem & Cat Couture by Jason McGroarty. Really though have you ever heard of anything so purrfect and feline fierce in your entire life than an art exhibit called 'Cat Couture'

This coming Monday (7th of March) head on over to Aberdeen's own art house Musa at 6pm for a wine reception and meet and greet with an artist like no other. Mixing his own creative talent and flare for visuals with humour and brooding emotion (and you know cats and animals) this is a unique and extraordinary exhibition you're not going to want to miss. Project Totem and Cat Couture have brought McGroarty notoriety and international exposure, having showcased his works in the likes of New York and London and Jason has most recently been selected for the prestigious Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition at Somerset House.

Hopefully you'll be able to at least pop in for a glass of wine and a gander this Monday at Musa, but if not you're still in luck as Jason has kindly offered a discount to anyone who would like to purchase one of his unique prints from his Etsy shop. Just head on over to his page and use the discount code: BLOG15 for 15% off your purchase.

Oh and just a quick FYI to all you cat lovers out there, there is a Harry Potter cat print.... do with this what you will...

Until next time folks, I'm feline fierce.

Aberdeen Events | #GetGifted at Warehouse

#GetGifted
All I have to say to you guys today is, why, oh why, do bad things happen to good people? Yes you read it correctly this weekend there is a fantastic shopping event taking place at Warehouse in the Bon Accord Centre, Aberdeen and I being on the spend ban I truly am as of December will be unable to attend, that as well as you know family commitments.... but I mostly blame the spend ban.

The #GetGifted event is Warehouse's way of saying thank you, to all of you shopaholics and fashionistas out there for shopping with them throughout the year in the form of (you guessed it) a special Warehouse gift. Get yourself along to Warehouse this weekend (5th of December) and you will receive a gift, whether that's 20% off of your shop, a free item from your shop, a voucher, or even a £250 spending spree. And if that doesn't excite you and make your palms sweat then I really don't know what will.

Be sure to share your purchases, prizes and gifts from the day with me on Twitter so I can make myself that little bit more jealous and wallow a little more, and you can keep up to date with the latest events and Granite City goings on on Bloglovin.

Until next time folks, go on #GetGifted.
