January Best Buys

At the end of each month I aim to show all of you lovelies my best buys for the month so kick starting with January here are my top picks from the beginning of 2014.

#1. Urban Decay's Naked 2 Eyeshadow Pallete (Debenhams. RRP. £37.00)
Something I have been in dire need of for a long time now has been a brand new eyeshadow pallete, having got the VERY most out of my 3 year old Urban Outfitters one it was time for a change. With my skintone and eyecolouring I favour browns, golds and beiges so this pallete has been parfect first of all for that and I must also say the wearability has been particularly surprising definitely worth the investment!

#2. Benefit's Pore-fessional pore minimiser (Debenhams. RRP. £24.50)
In buying this primer I admit I was skeptical, primers have too often failed me in my skincare endeavors and left my skin either too oily, cake your even dry! However I have been pleasantly surprised this primer is lightweight, silky and doesn't dry out my skin, highly recommended to anyone with a dry face area! The quirky packaging is a plus too, completely brightens up my make up table!

#3. Clinique's High Impact Mascara (black) (Debenhams. RRP. £14.50)
An old favourite of mine, I admit to being an awfully flaky lady when it comes to mascara and being a sucker when the latest promising brand comes out but I have always found myself back with this Clinique goodie, simply because of the absence of clumping and super lightweight feel on 7my lashes.

#4. H & M's 'Tres Jolie' top (H & M. RRP. £12.99)
My newest wardrobe addition which I found in one of the greatest high st stores ever! My recent obsession with Paris prompted this purchase and I can foresee it never being off of my back!

#5. Barry M's Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint (blueberry & lychee) (Boots. RRP. £3.99 Each)
A product I have indeed been after for a while but never really bothered buying (due mainly to the nature of my job where nail Polish is not allowed *sob) but I admit I am hooked the wearability of these bad boys is top notch and not to mention the hi shine reminiscent perhaps of childhood jelly shoes!

This month has been a big spendy month for me and I am still waiting for a few products to arrive including a few more Urban Decay goodies and some Yves Saint Laurent, I hope you've enjoyed the first edition of Granite City Best Buys, stay tuned for my February best buys next month and my wish list!
